In the Ultimate Boot CD, you get a main menu with options. These options are BrandTech Ultimate boot disk, Linux Windows, Windows XP system recovery (32 Bit), Windows Vista system recovery (32 Bit), NLTDR Loader Missing Fixer and Password Reset utility. When you select the first option (are BrandTech Ultimate boot disk) you get 10 options using the first interface.
These options are as follows, Main board Tools, for finding problems with your motherboard and components associated with it. Hard disk tools, for diagnosing problems with your hard drives, such as bad sectors or possibly issues with drivers. File system tools will help you to diagnose problems with your Operating system. User-defined tools are something I haven't worked with but if it's on Ultimate Boot CD it is useful!
When you select the second option (Linux Windows) which is a small live CD/USB/PXE system with its elemental purpose being to partition hard drives and recovery.
When you select option 3 Windows XP system recovery (32 Bit), or option 4 Windows Vista system recovery (32 Bit) you get full system recovery utilities which will allow you to perform system recoveries rolling-back to a system restore point, recovering a full PC backup, or accessing a command-line recovery console for advanced recovery purposes. However, it cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows XP or Vista.
